People think the only tourist attraction that central Australia has is Ayres Rock, but they couldn’t be more wrong. We have spent the last couple of weekends hitting some the local and regional tourist attractions. They may not be on that high and mighty “Seven Wonders of the World” list but they certainly make you go “Hmmmm….”.

Here are a few shots of our recent drive to Aileron. It took two hours to drive there and 15 minutes to hike up the hill for this view.

Yep – eveything’s right were it’s supposed to be.

A very wise woman once told me that life is about the story we tell at the end of the chapter. If statistics are to be believed, I’m closer to the end of my life than the beginning. I’ve quit the race to see who can have the office with best view or the most impressive job title. I’ve made peace with the fact there are some of my early dreams/goals that will never be realized. I love who I am and the women I have become AND boy do I have stories to tell!
