Tiny Ponies Meet Giant Horses

It only seems right that the upon their arrival to North Yorkshire the ponies should be introduced to their horse neighbors.

The size difference is EXTREME. We had to be VERY careful because my giant white horse friend has a tendency to eat EVERYTHING. Everyone in the village knows this gentle giant and works to keep fingers and small children at a safe distance. It only takes one finger on that big white nose to make him understand that he has crossed the line.

This giant ridiculous creature is named Seamus (Shay-mus). He is a 25 year old Irish Hunter and stands at about 17 hands. Irish Hunters are a cross between Irish Draft Horses and Thoroughbreds.

This is Grace. She is a very sweet Thoroughbred who wasn't sure what to think about the pony.

A very wise woman once told me that life is about the story we tell at the end of the chapter. If statistics are to be believed, I’m closer to the end of my life than the beginning. I’ve quit the race to see who can have the office with best view or the most impressive job title. I’ve made peace with the fact there are some of my early dreams/goals that will never be realized. I love who I am and the women I have become AND boy do I have stories to tell!
