Every Monday and Wednesday night, the ponies watch Dennis leave with a giant stinky black bag and two giant sticks. This week they decided to sneak their way into the bag and find out where what Dennis is up to.

After a long ride in that big smelly bag, the ponies popped up into a very cold place, called Planet Ice in the city of Leeds.

Dennis introduced the ponies to his teammates. None of the boys were very interested in the ponies, but the girls on the team were to happy to show the ponies around the rink and tell them all about hockey.

The ponies were impressed to learn that girls can play hockey too! The boys admitted to being a little bit scared of girls that at tough enough to play co-ed hockey. Jazz and Kiera were so happy to meet the ponies, they wanted to have their picture taken with them. Kiera is a goalie and she wear gigantic pads and gloves. Jazz plays defense so she is really good at skating backwards.

Dennis took us on a ride around the rink on his stick. He was really careful not to drop us, but we got to see him go really fast after he put us down.

A very wise woman once told me that life is about the story we tell at the end of the chapter. If statistics are to be believed, I’m closer to the end of my life than the beginning. I’ve quit the race to see who can have the office with best view or the most impressive job title. I’ve made peace with the fact there are some of my early dreams/goals that will never be realized. I love who I am and the women I have become AND boy do I have stories to tell!
